Vegas, Baby! …Butt What?

Well, after almost 2 weeks in the desert exploring, I decided that a little diversion was needed so I made a 2 day excursion to Las Vegas. The drive was great and when I got to Lake Havasu I thought I’d spend some time looking around. First I had to go to the beach (yes, beach in Arizona). Turns out there’s a recreation site with a canal that the power boaters use with a walking path along both sides, from the lake all the way to the Marina. Apparently it’s the party spot where everybody hangs out and there’s a huge, year round carnival going on. After getting my feet wet I took a drive through the heart and was amazed that the entire city is done in a Spanish/Southwestern style architecture theme.
